The programme explores the contemporary challenges that shape the capacity of health systems to respond effectively, equitably and responsibly to the needs of populations. Taking an integrated perspective, the programme addresses the environmental, economic and social dimensions of sustainability, linking them to international policies, national strategies and organisational practices. Students are invited to understand how pressure on resources, digital transition, health inequalities and ethical demands influence the resilience and future of health services.

This training will respond to the emerging need to prepare medical and non-medical professionals for sustainable practices in health services, promoting equally sustainable environments in communities.
