The session promoted pedagogical reflection and brought together undergraduate and master’s students to share experiences on entering the teaching profession
ESEL - Escola Superior de Educação da Lusofonia held, on 24 March, a session dedicated to sharing internship experiences, bringing together students from two study cycles within the curricular units “Supervised Teaching Practice III – in Primary Education” and “Introduction to Professional Practice in Primary Education”.
The initiative involved a group of second-year students from the Master’s Degree in Pre-School Education and Primary Education, as well as the second-year cohort of the Bachelor’s Degree in Basic Education.
Pedagogical strategies implemented in practice, challenges encountered, and the learning outcomes resulting from experiences in different primary school classrooms were discussed.
The session enabled the connection between different stages of the academic pathway, fostering reflection and the exchange of experiences among students, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to integrated training grounded in critical reflection and pedagogical practice.
