Research in collaboration with Lusoglobe analyses socio-emotional development and quality of life assessment across different stages of life
Professor Miguel Faria, lecturer at IPLUSO and visiting researcher at Lusoglobe, has published a study in the international journal Applied Developmental Science, in collaboration with researchers Fátima Gameiro and Paula Ferreira.
The research focuses on analysing quality of life and socio-emotional development across different stages of the life course, aiming to identify specific vulnerabilities in each phase and contribute to the definition of more appropriate response strategies.
The study is part of a research line addressing a current concern within the scientific community: the assessment of quality of life at different stages of human life, with the aim of better understanding the specific needs of each phase and supporting more effective interventions.
The collaboration between IPLUSO and Lusoglobe reinforces the importance of interdisciplinary research and cooperation between academic institutions in producing knowledge applied to contemporary social challenges.
