The workshop developed didactic cards based on a collaborative artistic methodology
The Escola Superior de Educação da Lusofonia (ESEL) of IPLUSO participated in the UNESCO International Arts Education Week, which took place between 25 and 31 May 2026. The initiative included a workshop held in Italy, in which lecturer Ana Rocha had the opportunity to participate in a moment of exchange with the community.
The proposal focused on the theme of Peace, within the scope of this celebration, which aims to “raise awareness among the international community about the importance of arts education and strengthen its cooperation, promoting cultural diversity, intercultural dialogue and social cohesion”, according to INSEA - International Society for Education through Art.
The workshop was developed based on a collaborative artistic methodology, which enabled the construction of collective knowledge based on individual experience, using a set of “Epic Thinking” cards as a foundation, through which a set of didactic cards was collectively developed for application in an Education and Training context.
