The activity provided a pedagogical journey through contemporary artworks, exploring the artists’ ideas and the historical contexts of their creations
The Master’s in Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education and of Mathematics and Natural Sciences in the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education, at the School of Education of Lusófona University (ESEL) of IPLUSO, held the final class of the semester of the curricular unit of Didactics of Expression Subjects in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education, with a focus on visual arts, at the Belém Cultural Centre, with a guided visit to the Berardo Collection exhibition “How is the Gaze Constructed?”.
The route was developed through the selection of several artworks, which led to stories of the period, of the artists, and of their controversial and innovative ideas.
