The event promoted sharing between schools, giving visibility to projects and building bridges for new collaborations with real impact on society
The Polytechnic Institute of Lusofonia organised IPLUSO Day, an initiative designed to bring together the different schools of the institution in a moment of sharing, discovery and collaboration.
Under the theme “What problem in society can we solve together?”, the event challenged the academic community to think beyond the boundaries of each area of knowledge and to build joint responses with real impact.
Throughout the day, each school had the opportunity to present its most relevant projects, courses and initiatives, showcasing the work developed at the institute and building new bridges between students, lecturers, researchers and partners.
The meeting was intended to be more than an institutional showcase: it positioned itself as an action-oriented space, where different areas intersected, common challenges were identified, and ideas were launched for future collaborations.
IPLUSO Day was created with the aim of valuing what is already done at the Polytechnic Institute of Lusofonia, but also of encouraging what can still be created together.
The initiative sought to encourage dialogue between schools, promote interdisciplinarity, and reinforce the institution’s role in seeking solutions to concrete problems in society.
Open to all who wished to learn about, take part in and contribute, the event was especially designed for the community that, on a daily basis, makes the academic life of the institute happen.
Through presentations, conversations and moments of connection, IPLUSO Day established itself as an opportunity to discover projects, bring people closer together and turn ideas into new possibilities for collaborative work.
