The visit challenged IPLUSO students to discover how art can engage with the sciences and enrich educational practice.
Students from the Master’s Degree in Pre-School Education and Primary School Teaching took part in an off-campus activity, accompanied by the lecturer of the Natural Sciences Workshop curricular unit.
The tailored visit took place at CAM, the Centre for Modern and Contemporary Art of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon. CAM houses one of the largest collections of Portuguese modern and contemporary art and features architecture that is closely connected to nature.
A guided visit was conducted, including practical exploration of the artworks, creating links between art and different scientific disciplines.
