    This Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Art aims to train professionals with flexible and interdisciplinary skills capable of exploring and using multimedia technologies and environments. The training balances practical experimentation, critical thinking, and technical mastery in the main multimedia media and supports such as photography, video, sound, film, installation, performance, and interactive systems, also including analog technologies. With a cross-disciplinary approach to the arts, it encourages the development of artistic and investigative projects that cross visual, sound, performative, and spatial languages. The curriculum includes elective units from the 3rd semester onwards and an optional curricular internship in the final year, reinforcing the link to the job market. Graduates will be prepared to work in the creative and cultural industries, integrate into the contemporary art circuit, or pursue Master's studies, standing out for their ability to combine art, technology, and innovation.

    Candidates can apply to this cycle of studies if they apply through the institutional entrance examination and pass one of the following sets of entrance examinations: 03 Drawing 12 History of Culture and the Arts or 03 Drawing 10 Descriptive Geometry or 10 Descriptive Geometry 12 History of Culture and the Arts or 03 Drawing 18 Portuguese or 10 Descriptive Geometry 18 Portuguese or 12 History of Culture and the Arts 18 Portuguese Candidates can also enter through the change of institution/course pair schemes, or through a Special Competition, in accordance with the legal rules in force (holders of higher education courses, holders of a Technological Specialization Course, holders of Professional Higher Technician Course or Over 23 years of Age). Candidates who meet the conditions laid down in the International Student Statute may also enter.

    - To train professional artists or agents in the creative industries with flexible and interdisciplinary skills, capable of exploring and applying multimedia technologies and environments such as photography, video, sound, film, installation, performance, and interactive systems; - To prepare students for the pursuit of second-cycle studies; - To develop a body of artistic work with personal and identity-based expression, interconnecting theoretical, technical, and artistic skills in multimedia art; - To master analog, mixed, and digital languages, devices, and tools, operating with digital creation and production software; - To acquire critical thinking in the interpretation, analysis, and development of individual theoretical-practical research methods; - To understand and articulate the main themes of the history and aesthetics of multimedia art in the contemporary panorama; - To produce, present, document, and disseminate their projects autonomously within the artistic circuit, the community, or other cultural sectors; - To integrate into business sectors as independent multimedia professionals, benefiting from the experience gained during the curricular internship.
