The structure of this 1st CYCLE IN ILLUSTRATION AND DRAWING aligns with the educational framework proposed by the Bologna Process and consists of 6 semesters. IPLUSO, as stipulated by polytechnic higher education law, aims to develop professional skills combined with a spirit of autonomy, proactivity, self-criticism, contextual analysis, and innovation. The curriculum of the Bachelor¿s Degree in Illustration and Drawing is comprehensive, highly professional, and competitive. It offers four minor options in the following areas: Tattooing and Camouflage, Illustration and Comics, Illustration for Children, and Scientific Illustration. The pedagogical approaches are immersive and comprehensive, covering historical, technical, scientific, creative, methodological, and applicational aspects.

One of the following sets of admission exams: 03 Drawing 10 Descriptive Geometry or 03 Drawing 18 Portuguese or 10 Descriptive Geometry 18 Portuguese or 06 Philosophy 18 Portuguese or 03 Drawing 12 History of Culture and Arts or 10 Descriptive Geometry 16 Mathematics As an external student, you may have one 12th-grade course pending, which must be completed during the academic year. At the end of the year, you must provide proof of completion for the course, along with the results of the exam taken in the National Admission Competition. Admission Competition: Course change, transfer, and readmission, in accordance with Portaria 401/2007 of April 5. Special Competition for Applicants Aged 23 and Over: Candidates who turn 23 by December 31 of the year preceding the exam and do not hold qualifications for higher education access. Special Competition for Holders of Higher Education Degrees and Technological Specialization Diplomas: In accordance with Decree-Law No. 393-B/99, of October 2; In accordance with Portaria No. 854-A/99, of October 4; In accordance with Decree-Law No. 88/2006, of May 23. -
ObjectivosObjectives
Illustration is an interdisciplinary creative field that combines communication, innovation, imagination, inventiveness, creativity, and technology. The objective of the Bachelor¿s Degree in Illustration and Drawing is to prepare students for their careers as illustrators across various fields. Students master methods of research, both individually and in teams, acquiring the ability to deliver creative, applied, and contextually aware solutions in professional environments, as well as addressing social and cultural issues at both national and European levels. Professionalism is consistently encouraged throughout the learning process. Research satisfies and stimulates curiosity, prompting students to enhance their interdisciplinary skills (knowledge and practices), self-criticism, and adaptability to the professional world. -
